Dr. Paresh B. Joshi

Dr. Paresh B. Joshi, PhD, is a Professor, Department of English at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. He has received two prestigious awards, i.e. Vedant International Educator Excellence Awards 2021 by Vedant Foundation and Quality Excellence Award 2021 in Teaching and Training by Indian Quality Assurance Council in collaboration with Indian Society for Training and Development, Vadodara, Chapter.

He has 19 years of teaching experience. His areas of specialization are English Literature, Applied Linguistics (Phonetics), English Language Teaching (ELT), Folk Literature, and Soft-Skills, among others. He is a recognized Ph.D. guide with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University; 07 students have completed their Ph. D and 04 students are pursuing their Ph.D. He gives his services as a Ph.D. Referee, a Subject Expert in Interviews and Scrutiny Committees to various universities of India.

He is an Assessor with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has performed quality audits as a Peer Team Member at various colleges of India.

His varied contributions find expression in more than 100 invited talks as Keynote, Plenary and Subject expert. As a trainer, he has conducted training programs with leading Corporates, Schools, and Colleges on a range of topics, including Soft/Life Skills, ELT (English Language Teaching), and Voice and Accent Training. He has his virtual present on Youtube, where some of his videos are uploaded.

To add to this, he has written 11 books and has published more than 20 research papers in national and international research journals with an impact factor of more than 3.00. He has also presented research papers at national and international conferences. This apart, he is also a recognized voice-over professional and has done commercials and documentaries.
