Master of Computer Application (MCA)

Master of Computer Application (MCA) program is especially designed for the graduate students who have their bacholer degree from the frield of computer science, information technology, engineering etc. The curriculum of this program match the need of the software and IT industry that is looking for skilled software and IT professionals.

Objective of Program

The core objective of the MCA programme is to prepare the students for productive career in software industry and academia by providing an outstanding environment of teaching and research in the core and emerging areas of the discipline.

Program Outcome

MCA will prepare the students to obtain positions as System Analysts, System Designers, Programmers, IT Managers and academicians in any field related to Information technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Students passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent Degree.
OR
Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the VNSGU).

Admission Details

Admission to MCA program is granted centrally by the ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Ahmedabad), based on the marks obtained by a student in CMAT (Common Management Admission Teest). CMAT is an ONLINE computer based test conducted by a National Testing Agency (NTA). For the application for CAMT examination aspiring students are advised to visit www.cmat.nta.nic.in website regularly. https://cmat.nta.nic.in/

For filling application for for admission process to ACPC the students are advised to visit ACPC website www.jacpcldce.ac.in
