Online Grievance Redressal System for Sc/St Students/Employees:

OBJECTIVES :
• To monitor the implementation of the policies for SCs/STs and other reserve category in the University and affiliated colleges.
• To maintain the database regarding the implementation of the policies for SCs/STs and other reserve category in respect of admissions, appointments to teaching and non-teaching positions in the universities, and in the affiliating colleges.
FUNCTIONS :
1. To circulate the information received from Government of India, Government of Gujarat and UGC to various academies as well as administrative departments in the university and affiliated colleges.
2. To collect information regarding course-wise admissions to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other reserve category in the Universities and Colleges for different courses.
3. To collect reports and information regarding the Government of India, Government of Gujarat and UGC orders on the various aspects of education, training and employment of Scheduled Castes and Schedules Tribes candidates and other reserve category.
4. To deal with grievance received from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other reserve category regarding their admission, recruitment, promotion and other similar matters in Universities / Colleges.
5. To function as a Grievances Redressal Cell for the Grievances of SC/ST and other reserve category students and employees of the university and render them necessary help in solving their problems.
6. Undertaking other works assigned from time to time to promote higher education among these two communities suffering economic, social and education
